Repeat Performance

Two Greek inmates scrambled aboard a helicopter and escaped a maximum-security prison. The same prison that one of the men, Vassililis Palaiokostas, had escaped from three years ago. He had used a helicopter then too. The pilot was kidnapped and later released unharmed both times. Palaiokostas was serving a long sentence, in a suburban Athens prison, for kidnapping and bank robbery. His brother Nikos, who, according to reports, masterminded this escape, is also in prison.
