United Rotorcraft Delivers First WAAS-Equipped EC145
Peoria, Ill.-based OSF Aviation, a division of OSF HealthCare, has received the first of four Eurocopter EC145s outfitted with an aftermarket wide area augmentation system (WAAS) from United Rotorcraft. The handover represents the first delivery of a WAAS-certified EC145. United Rotorcraft, a part of Air Methods, expects to hand over the remaining three helicopters later this year.
