Children’s Hospital Adds WAAS LPV Approach
Hickok & Associates has provided the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans with a wide area augmentation system (WAAS) localizer performance with vertical guidance (LPV) approach procedure. With this new technology, the hospital can provide fleet operator Metro Aviation with lateral navigation (LNAV) and WAAS LPV approach minimums. Hickok also supplied obstacle departure procedures for the HEMS operator.
