New S-64 Flight Control Approved

Erickson Air-Crane and Stilwell Baker have received FAA certification for its co-developed automatic flight control system (AFCS) for the S-64. According to SBI President David Valaer, the joint project resulted in a 50 percent increase in AFCS reliability and 33 percent decrease in system weight.
