Era, Priority 1 to Operate New Gulf Base
Lake Charles, La.-based Era Helicopters is planning to introduce a new search and rescue/EMS operation with Priority 1 Air Rescue. The base will be established at Era’s site in Fourchon, La., with Priority 1 providing crews, flight paramedics and hoist operators. A modified Era AgustaWestland AW139 will locate and airlift offshore operators in the Gulf of Mexico. Anadarko is the launch customer for the new service. (From August 2010 Rotorcraft Report)
