CHC Expands to Australia
Vancouver, Canada-based CHC Helicopter has launched operations in Australia for Woodside Energy. CHC will provide air support for production and drilling campaigns. The company has also moved into new headquarters in Perth to facilitate its newest offshore oil and gas contract. Three EC225s will be flying out of Karratha and Broome, with a fourth helicopter to be added later for its facility in Exmouth. CHC Helicopter services began with the introduction of two AgustaWestland AW139s at the company’s new hangar in Karratha.
