Appareo Introduces Stratus Weather App
Fargo, N.D.-based Appareo Systems has launched Stratus, a wireless weather receiver for the iPad. The unit pairs automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) and GPS data into a single device that streams other weather information including Nexrad (next-generation radar), TFRs, aircraft position data, text weather and winds aloft into the ForeFlight Mobile app for iOS devices.
