Laser Shining Man Arrested

The Silver Spring, Maryland man shined a laser pointer at an ENG helicopter yesterday and was arrested. The WJLA Channel 7 helo was flying near Gary Wort's home, which annoyed Wort, who went into his backyard and shined the laser light at the pilot. The pilot called Montgomery County police. When the police responded, Wort shined the laser pointer at them. Wort is being held at the county's detention center, arrested and charged with one count of disorderly conduct, three counts of reckless endangerments and one count of prohibited use of a laser pointer.
