SKYe SH09 Order Book Reaches 45

Marenco Swisshelicopter is reporting a total of nine new orders booked for its SKYe SH09 during last month’s Heli-Expo, bringing the total number of commitments for the in-development helicopter to 45. The company appointed Heliflite as the distributor in Oceania in March, after naming Aero Facility Co. the distributor for Japan in October 2012. Heliflite inked a letter of intent for two SH09s in March. According to Marenco, deliveries for the current orders are scheduled to run through 2017, starting in 2015 with a target of 10 helicopters total, followed by 20 in 2016 and the remainder in 2017. The company is aiming to roll out first SH09 prototype in May 2013, with first flight scheduled to occur by the end of June.
