CALSTAR to Get Another MD-902

California Shock Trauma Air Rescue expects to receive another new MD Helicopters MD-902 by today. The McClellan, Calif.-headquartered emergency medical services operator ordered five of the aircraft earlier this year to expand its fleet and replace its Bell Helicopter 222s. The latest aircraft will allow the nonprofit CALSTAR to supplement a support base in Gilroy, Calif. and open a new base in Jackson, Calif. CALSTAR's MD-902s are equipped for single-pilot instrument flight rules. For related news
