Lothian to Provide Air Taxi Service

Lothian Helicopters in Scotland will begin providing helicopter taxi service to people who live in an exclusive housing estate in Clackmannanshire. Permission has been received for the company to be based in the 25-home community that will have a permanent helipad. Lothian will take residents to work or on business or pleasure trips. Lothian flies the Bell 206L-4 LongRanger. Developers of the community said there had been initial concern about noise pollution but noted that the helipad will be located in a part of the community that is primarily agricultural land. There will be no more than 10 flights each day with a maximum of 30 take-offs and 30 landings per week. For related news
