February 8, 2010 Two Die in Dominican Helicopter Crash
A Robinson R44 II with two men onboard crashed Thursday in a mountainous area of the Dominican Republic. Both men—identified as pilot John Ward of Fort Myers, Fla. and co-pilot James Jalovec of Naples—died in the crash. They were part of the earthquake rescue effort for neighboring Haiti.

EMS Helicopter Goes Down at Fort Bliss
A total of three people died when a medical helicopter crashed on Friday during a training exercise at the U.S. Army base at Fort Bliss, Texas. The Southwest Med Evac helicopter was carrying pilot William Montgomery and paramedics John Sutter and Anthony Archuleta. Southwest Med Evac is a unit of Omniflight Helicopters, Addison, Texas.
