Robert J. Kokonis has 20 years of leadership experience in the airline and travel sectors, acquired with major international airlines such as Air Canada, travel management leader Carlson Wagonlit Travel, travel distribution system Worldspan, travel technology pioneer CharterHub, and AirTrav Inc., a boutique management consultancy specializing in aviation industry affairs.

Robert is a Partner with BMB Fuel Consulting Services Inc., a global leader in airline fuel management.  BMB Fuel experts provide strategic and tactical advice on operational, emissions, procurement, financial/hedging, and business intelligence issues to airlines, IATA, NATO armed forces, and the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations.

Robert is an acknowledged authority on the airline sector and is one of Canada’s most quoted analysts.  He regularly addresses influential conferences such as the Canadian Airline Investment Conference and the National Business Travel Association, and provides expert opinion to civil organizations such as EuroControl.  Robert holds an International M.B.A. degree (Honors Finance) from the Helsinki School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland and a B.A. from The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada.
