Initial Production EC175 Takes to Skies

The first flight of the No. 1 series-production EC175 took place at Eurocopter’s headquarters in Marignane last week. The seven-ton medium twin EC175 is a joint development with China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC), with aircraft being assembled in both Europe and China serving their respective markets. The Chinese version is labeled the Z-15.
