Vector Gets Bell 206 "Glass" STC

Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services-North America reports it has received a supplemental type certificate from Transport Canada for installation of a Sagem Avionics glass cockpit in the Bell Helicopter 206 helicopter. The Sagem Integrated Cockpit Display System 8 consists of two 8-in color LCD monitors. They replace less reliable, higher cost analog engine instruments. Vector said they also weight 15-21 lb less than the previous installation. Vector already holds FAA and EASA approvals for the upgrade on the 206 series. For related news
