19 Jan. 1926Z Toronto Ontario A321-200 of Air Canada C-GJWI crew reported NLG wheel missing after arrival from Montreal. Nil ACA413 wheel located on ramp. 3rd such failure in AC fleet in 12 months.
28 Jan. 2100L Ghardaia Algeria Beech 1900D of Tassili Air Crashed after a go-round on late final due to runway being still occupied. 1 fatal / 5 o/b 7T-VIN written off (wing torn off). Copilot died later of injuries.
28 Jan. Goose Bay 777-200 of AA Flt: AAL51 Reg: N7191AN. Gatwick-Dallas flight diverted 1420Z fm posn 53N50W (elect failure in left engine). Nil Landed Goose 1522Z. Failure was of engine fire detection system.
29 Jan. evening Ndola Zambia EMB135 of Airlink Zambia Landed long, skidded off runway in heavy rain & became stuck in the mud. Nil a.k.a. Zambia Skyways - fleet has no reversers (optional extra).
29 Jan. 1046Z Goose Bay Learjet 35 Reg: 840141 USAF Lear RCH229 rejected t/off runway 26 with smoke in cockpit . Nil Returned to the ramp.
29 Jan. 2252L Pontiac, Mich. EMB110 Reg: N34A Main gear collapsed on landing 27L after a divert to Pontiac. Nil Following a gear-down transit after departing Detroit for Akron, Ohio.
29 Jan. 2020L Huntsville, Al. Convair 240 Reg: N8277Q A/c on landing had a complete hyd failure and departed the end. Nil A/c damaged.
30 Jan. 1922Z Grande Prairie Dash 8 of Jazz Reg: C-GTAQ JZA8301 decl emerg on t/off for cargo fire indication and re-landed (<3mins). Nil / 52 o/b False warning.
30 Jan. 0310L Glendive, Mich. SA26 Merlin2 Reg: N430MA Lost steering and got stuck in a snowbank (assumed while taxiing). Nil / 7 o/b Pax deplaned on r/way 12 (Billings Mont. for Glendive, Mich.)
30 Jan. Bridgeton, Mo. Jetstream 200 Reg: N567HK After a missed approach STL 30R and a further low pass due unsafe NLG, a/c landed and NLG collapsed. Nil / 28 o/b Minor damage. A/c evacuated on the runway @ St Louis (Fayetteville, Ark. for Lambert Field Mo.)

30 Jan. 1150L Cleveland, Ohio DC-9 of Northwest Company tug ran into the rt wing of N9989 while it was parked gate 6. Nil / 8 o/b Extent of damage unknown.
30 Jan 0538L Lincoln, Nebraska E135 of American Eagle N662AE struck a tug with its left wing while parking at Jetway One. Nil / 22 o/b Chicago, Il., for Lincoln, Nebraska. Minor damage.
31 Jan. 1433L Plymouth, Mass. Beechjet 400 Reg: N26PA Aircraft lost the bottom of the right engine cowling on takeoff. Nil Cowling not secured. (Plymouth for West Palm Beach, Florida).
31 Jan. 2135L Marathon, Fla. Beech 90 Reg: N75GC Aircraft crashed in bad weather (scattered 500 ft., overcast 1,200 ft.). 2 fatal / 2 o/b Marathon - Ft Lauderdale, Fla. (Reduced visibility in mist)
31 Jan. 0129L Kamuela, Hawaii C414 of Hawaii Air Ambulance TN5637C lost on radar 0129L at 5,900 ft. Failed to arrive Hilo (weather). 3 fatal / 3 o/b ETA 0150L. Subject of an alert notice. Wreckage located 3nm E of Kamuela.
31 Jan. 1545L Pittsburgh, Pa. DO328-100 of Pacific Island Avn N439JS jumped its chocks at gate E17 during an engine run. Nil Struck baggage cart, damaging radome. Non-pilot brake-rider.
31 Jan. 1345Z London H'Row A340-300 of Virgin Atlantic VS45 turned back 150mins into flt to JFK because of burning smell in cabin. Nil / 181 pax On same day as BA cx three translants due to security-based intelligence.
31 Jan. 1530L Houston, Texas 737-300 of Continental Flt. 176 returned to Bush Int'l A/P with strong odor in cabin. Nil / 52 pax Had departed 1340L for Philadelphia.
01 Feb. 1245L Laredo, Texas SAAB340 of American Eagle N340RC suffered rt eng failure on t/off and returned (debris left on runway). Nil / 32 o/b Flt. # 464 (Laredo to Dallas Forth Worth) returned to Laredo.
01 Feb. 2125L Tampa, Florida 737 of Southwest F/A suffered head injury when a/c struck turbulence inbound to Tampa. 1 inj Flt. # SWA1725.
01 Feb. 19955Z Calgary Intl Can. 767-200 of Air Canada Ret'd after t/off with gear unsafe on retr'n. Engine flamed out on taxi-back. Nil ACA215 flight recorders pulled due flap retraction problem on prior flight.
02 Feb. 1933L Minneapolis, Minn. CRJ-100 of Comair N807CA struck de-icing truck while maneuvering in non-maneuvering area. Nil CL600-2B19 a/c damaged and Flt Com913 (Minneapolis-Cincinnati) cancelled.
03 Feb. 1830L Atlanta, Ga. 737 of Delta Flt:DAL1924 A/c rt engine cowl hit by a belt-loader while parked at gate. Nil / 57 po/b Extent of damage unknown.
04 Feb. Minneapolis St Pl 727F of Kittyhawk One MLG wheel fell off upon gear extension on approach. Nil Impacted Highway 55 in Inver Grove Heights.
04 Feb. 0245L Laredo, Texas 737 of Southwest Reg: N673AA Flt. SWA 712 struck severe turbulence & diverted Laredo with inj F/A. 1 inj San Antonio for Dallas flight.
05 Feb. Perth, WA BAe146-300 of National Jet VH-NJL turned back after take-off with a fire-warning indication Nil False fire light. A/c enroute to Mount Keith, WA
05 Feb. 1130L Sydney NSW Dash8 of QANTAS Link Flt QF2042 (Sydney-Dubbo) returned with eng fire (called by ATC on dept) Nil / 11 o/b Hydraulic leak generated thick smoke.
