The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command awarded Boeing in Ridley Park, Pa., a $25.5 million modification to a firm, fixed-price contract for procurement of a CH-47F. Work is expected to be completed by December, 2012.

The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command has awarded Raytheon Technical Services Co., Indianapolis, Ind., a $25 million contract for the development and procurement of additional V-22 training products, including the trainer fault insertion system. The contract also provides for installation and implementation of phased upgrades and on-call maintenance support to the avionics functional V-22 trainer and insertion system. Work is to be completed by September 2012.

The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command has awarded Bell Helicopter two contract modifications: a $21.8 million change to a previously awarded contract for the development of the structural repair manual, including damage limits and tolerances, and repair source data for 1,187 airframe/propulsion candidates. The data is to be incorporated into and delivered under a suite of technical manuals broken down into UH-1Y-unique, AH-1Z-unique and UH-1Y/AH-1Z common groups. Work is to be completed by September 2009. The company was also awarded a $32 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract for procurement of initial spares in support of the Fiscal 2007 Lot 4 UH-1Ys and AH-1Zs. Work is expected to be completed by April 2010.

The U.S. Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa. also awarded Bell a $5.6 million ceiling priced order under a previously awarded contract for spare components for the Bell UH-1. Work is expected to be completed by December 2009.

The U.S. Naval Inventory Control Point has awarded Lockheed Martin Integrated Defense Systems, Owego, N.Y., a firm, fixed-price delivery order of $31.7 million for procurement of initial and wholesale spares requirements for six different weapons replacement assemblies to support the system used on the Sikorsky Aircraft MH-60R/S. Work is expected to be completed by November 2008.
