New Firm Offers Alternative

JET Demands is offering an alternative to card programs and fractional ownership for the those seeking “exclusive travel options with a to-die-for, one-of-a-kind opulent style” and no up-front costs.
“Unfortunately, fractional ownership comes with a not-so-pretty price…additional hidden costs to be exact - monthly maintenance costs, operating fees and necessary insurance charges,' said the Bohemia, NY-based company. “Card programs do not seem to be any better. In fact, after all is said and done, card programs are often 30-50 percent more expensive then jet charters. We can offer the same product that all card or fractional programs offer, without all of the additional costs built into their price… we believe that fractional ownership or card programs are an antiquated service for New York flyers."
The company, headed by Managing Partner Dan Perna, characterizes itself as a client’s personal flight department. JET Demands was conceived by Co-Founder Captain Stephen Matteo, a 23-year veteran of American Airlines with experience through his management of various air charter companies since 1980.
"There is no single private jet program that offers the best value for every trip," said Perna, "Every program out there has fixed-rate pricing. These private jet programs are designed to produce huge profits on some trips, so they can offset losses on others."
JET Demand analyzes a client’s need on a trip basis, focusing on cost effectiveness, time flexibility, luxury and safety, it four core values. It then presents a number of options that allow them to select the right flight for them.
"Our goal is to provide a safe, cost-effective means of travel providing options including one-ways, empty-legs as well as round trips," said Perna.
The company said it can offer clients access to over 5,500 premier-type private jets and the largest inventory of empty-leg charter with and no up-front capital outlay.
