NATA Launches Environmental Facts for GA

The National Air Transport Association launched a new series of quick facts on aviation’s impact on the environment, starting with the fact aviation only accounts for three to four percent of green house gas (GHG) emissions worldwide, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. For a complete report on aviation impact and its three decades at improving the industry’s environmental footprint Special Report: Aviation and Climate Change
by VLJ Report’s sister publication Regional Aviation News. This report also provides a primer on the issues including emissions trading and imposing emissions charges on an already over-taxed industry.
