"In the current economic climate, commercial carriers continue to reduce service to many communities while highways remain highly congested," said FlyMiwok's CEO Gad Barnea. "Our affordable on-demand service will open up new options for busy business travelers looking to cut costs and make better use of their time. We have already seen tremendous excitement for our service since initial public coverage started last September and we look forward to serve our customers come January"
Based in Burlingame, Calif. FlyMiwok serves a region that includes Los Angeles to the San Diego or Palm Springs region, promising 40-minute, less-than-full-fare economy flights that beat the 4-5 hours on a round-trip compared to driving.
