JetSuite, Pratt Ink Deal

JetSuite, the planned jet charter company which will operate the Embraer Phenom 100, signed an 11-year deal with Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) to maintain its new fleet of PW617F-powered Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft. The company has 50 aircraft on order with 50 options.
Based in California and Nevada, JetSuite is the largest U.S. customer for the Embraer Phenom 100. JetSuite plans to commence service in the second quarter of 2009, once it receives the necessary government approvals. Its plans to operate a fleet of 11 Phenom 100 aircraft next year from Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and to then add two aircraft per month to serve areas in western United States, Alaska, Canada and Mexico.
P&WC will provide comprehensive engine maintenance services under its FMP® program for JetSuite’s fleet. Engine coverage includes both scheduled and unscheduled engine maintenance and Engine Trend Condition Monitoring (ETCM).
"This agreement confirms the competitiveness of P&WC’s Fleet Management Programs and the effectiveness of our global customer support network in fully meeting the maintenance needs of this emerging market segment," said Eva Azoulay, director, Commercial Services & Support, P&WC.
"This FMP program will provide stability and predictability to our operation with regards to engine maintenance and allow us to focus more on our customers," said Alex Wilcox, CEO and president of JetSuite. "The agreement is sure also to satisfy our customers, lessors and lenders as we grow our fleet, and is key to sustaining our stunning operating cost advantage."
P&WC also offers its Eagle Service Plan (ESP® program) to PW617 Phenom 100 customers worldwide to help them effectively meet their engine maintenance needs.
