Copter Carrying Tommy Lee Forced to Land

A Bell 206B Jet Ranger carrying Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee was ordered to land at Van Nuys Airport when it allegedly encroached a Los Angeles police helicopter on a call. An LAPD spokesperson said the incident occurred over Glendale on Feb. 1 at 10:45 a.m., and that the helicopter was flying both erratically and too close to the police Eurocopter AS350B3. After landing, the pilot of the Jet Ranger reportedly admitted to police that he had consumed alcohol prior to the flight. For more details
