Canadian Threat Assessment

From an Aug. 5 speech in Halifax by Canada's Transport Minister, Jean-C. LaPierre:

"The government is moving forward to develop an air passenger assessment program. The program, called 'Passenger Protect,' is aimed at stopping people who pose a threat to aviation security from flying in Canada. And it will provide one more layer of security to prevent terrorist attacks against aviation. Under the program, the government will identify people who pose an immediate threat to aviation security, and work with the airlines to ensure they do not board aircraft."
