23 Jun 1445Z Montreal Intl. 727-44C of Bradley Air Services Flt: FAB866 C-GVFA declared an emergency for fire warning #3, dumped fuel and landed. Nil JT8D-7B fire warning at 5000 ft was false.
07 Jul Moosonee Ontario DHC-6 of Min of Natural Resources C-FOPG alert phase declared after a/c reqstd special VFR clearance and then lost contact with FSS (Flt Service Station).. 09 Jul 1700L Kotzebue Alaska Caravan C20-8 Reg: 410GV Enroute, pilot went aft to check cargo and broke ankle. 1 ser / 3 on board Kotzebue, Alaska, to Port Hope, Alaska.
11 Jul Orlando Intl A/P Security Screener's Gun Find Screeners found a loaded pistol inside a child's teddy bear during pre-boarding checks. Nil Family of five claim bear was given to child at an Orlando hotel 2 days earlier. Gun was stolen in a 1996 burglary in Barstow, California.

16 Jul Sydney Australia 747-400 of Thai Airwyas Pax stabbed in neck by metal fork in seating dispute. 1 ser / 381 on board 22yo man restrained & arrested after Bangkok flight landed at Sydney.
16 Jul Cranbrook B.C. Electra L-188 fire bomber of Air-Spray A/c crashed 8 km east of East Kootenay after load-release. 2 fatal / 2 on board No further details.
