15 May 2254L El Paso Intl Texas Cessna320 Skynight Reg: N4111T A/c deptd R/way 26L and crashed on the ramp after RH engine failure. 1 ser inj A/c destroyed (owned by Strata Prodn Co of Roswell New Mexico). Eng had just had maint performed.
15 May 0845L Coffs Harbour Australia Beech Super Kingair200 of the Royal Flying Doctor Service VH-AMR A/C forced down by waterspout/microburst at 4km finals hitting sea surface and losing port u/carriage. Later landed Coffs Harbour. 4 uninj A/c landed on nosegear and RH MLG, scraping one wingtip, however a/c is a write-off due to sea surface and harbor breakwater wall impact damage.

21 May 1125L Iwakuni Japan U-36A Learjet 36A of JMSDF Rolled abruptly & crashed following training touch & go. 4 fatal Target tug a/c. Suspect mishandled simulated asymmetric exercise.
21 May 0205Z St John's Intl Newfoundland 767 of Delta Flt: DAL140 N188DN enrt JFK-Brussels decl emerg 50mls E of Nanso for smoke in the cockpit. Nil Landed St Johns 0249Z (cause was overheating cooling fan in cargo hold).
22 May 0210L La Guardia NY Falcon 50 of US Air N664B collided with Colgan Air Flt 5056 an SF34 on taxiways BB and AA intxn. 1 F/A inj N664B LH windshield damage and SF34 left wing damage (both a/c taxing for departure).
22 May Durban SA 737 of Comair Returned soon after take-off with a bomb hoax. Nil A/c isolated and evacuated in the compass swing bay for search.
