27 Oct. 0745L Tampico, Mexico Raytheon Hawker125 XA-ISH destroyed by impact with hilly terrain due to a midfield wrong direction turn during IMC circling. 3 fatal / 3 o/b Operator Aeroextra. S/N 25-8036. Accident occurred at private airstrip after short flight from Tampico.
04 Nov. 2346Z Waterloo VOR Toronto, Calif. Learjet 55 of Samuel & Son Reg: C-GKTM Airmiss with Westjet 737 and reptd an electrical problem (flashlight in use). Essential bus was lost due CB tripping. Nil A/c enrt Wapakoneta, Ohio, to Toronto & divtd by ATC to Erie Intl due weather. Current limiter failure of RH generator control unit.
08 Nov. 1100L Ogle, Guyana Shorts Skyvan SC7 8R-GMC #2 failed after t/off r/way 24 and force-landed in cane-field (flt Ogle-Ekereku). 2 fatal / 5 ser / 7 o/b Trans-Guyana Awys a/c struck a ridge and came to rest 30m further on.
08 Nov. Ft. Myers, Fla. A300-600 of American AA1908 landed with hydfail at Ft Myers in lieu of Miami due to weather. Nil Port-au-Prince to Miami.
10 Nov. 1400Z enrt Toronto-Delhi A340-313 of Air Canada C-FYKX Exp eng #4 rollbacks (non-selected power loss) and oil-filter clogs despite redn to idle- shutdown on descent. Nil ACA51's #4 CFM56-5C4 engine replaced in New Delhi.
10 Nov. Dulles Intl A/P 737 of US Airways Flt 696 Pilot tentative touch of faulty rt MLG during touch & go caused a pax panic. Nil / 130 pax Pays to pre-explain to pax (prob faulty indicator) - or much ado about .......
11 Nov. 1803L Crescent City, Calif. Cheyenne of Life-Flight Cal-Ore air ambulance belly-landed at Del Norte County A/P due pilot error. Nil / 2 o/b Operator WestLog Aviation. The usual underbelly, prop damage and suchlike.
12 Nov. 1317L Tinker AFB, Okla. AWACS of USAF Diverted Tinker due to an engine shutdown for low oil pressure. Nil / 8 o/b Dumped fuel at 10,000 ft.
13 Nov. 0715Z Winnnipeg, Can. 727-22C of Kelowna KFA283 Crew detected white acrid smoke from radar indicator and deactivated it. Nil Enrt from Hamilton Ont and continued on to Winnipeg (150 mls further on).
13 Nov. Clermont-Ferrand 737-300 of Aigle Azur Flt ZI255 Pilot landed after pax admitted accepting 5 bags from a non-boarder. Nil / 33 o/b Orly (Paris) - Algiers flight diverted to a regional French airport for check.
13 Nov. Khartoum A340-200 of Lufthansa On taxi-out pilots thought their A340 wing would pass over Saudia 747 Nil D-AIBF wingtip & outbd slats damaged. A340 has a very long wing.
13 Nov. 1530L Houston, Texas Falcon 2000 Reg: N784BX Pilot reported that a panel had fallen off inflight and returned to Houston. Nil Minor damage.
13 Nov. 1347L Phoenix, Ariz. C208 Caravan of FEDEX A/c was blown over onto its left wing by a taxiing CRJ. Nil Substantial damage.
14 Nov. 0158L Galena, Alaska C402 of Arctic Circle Air CIR402ET crashed on landing at Galena in low visibility. Nil Substantial damage to N402ET.

15 Nov. 0517L Newark, NY MD-82 of American Flt AA1328 hit a flock of birds on approach to 22L. Nil Minor cosmetic damage to N560AA.
15 Nov. Katmandu 757 of Royal Nepal Three hours out experienced severe hyd leak left elevator & returned KAT. Nil Bound Katmandu for Kuala Lumpur. Both fleet 757 now grounded by maintenance.
15 Nov. 2020L Indianapolis, Ind. A319 of US Airways Crew declared an emergency for a galley fire and diverted Indianapolis. Nil / 87 o/b Philadelphia-Phoenix flight.
16 Nov. 2005L deptd Davao City Philipp at 1842L A330 of PAL Flt: PR816 Loud compressor stall led to a/c being reported down by widespread media while flight was still enroute Manila. Nil / 116 pax Smoke & flames from the ailing engine had generated widespread alarm on departure and via SMS.
17 Nov. 1630L Wau Sthn Sudan AN-12 of Saria Air Transport A/c exploded 4 kms from Wau airport during its approach (cause unknown). 13 fatal / 13 o/b Carrying a money shipment from the Bank of Sudan.(fraud?).
17 Nov. 0815L Tulsa, Okla. Learjet Aircraft made a hard landing and departed the runway side. Nil / 2 o/b Unknown cause/unknown damage. Jones Riverside Airport.
17 Nov. 0924L Shannon Ireland L-1011 of Saudi royal family Nosewheel damaged during refuel-stop landing (runway closed for 40 mins). Nil / 33 pax & crew Nosewheel collapsed. Enroute from Toronto, Canada, to Amman, Jordan, with six royals.
17 Nov. 1430L Dublin, Ireland 777-200 of BA Reg: G-VIIG BA0297 inflt shutdown #2 due to coked up rear bearing oil scavenge pipe. Nil Diverted into Dublin (bound Heathrow to Chicago (O'Hare).
17 Nov. LAX 747-4H6 of Malaysian 9M-MPK crashed into passenger bridge while being towed by maint. Nil Gate 103 strike damaged #2 engine pylon.
18 Nov. Rome (Ciampino), Italy 737 of Air Berlin 2 Italian jets scrambled to escort after intercepted comms led ATC to believe that all was not right aboard the jet. Nil Believed that incident was due to an airwave scanner's report- but possibly due to a miss-set transponder code.
18 Nov. 0336L Monterey, Calif. Learjet 35 Reg: N85SV Aborted take-off r/way 10R after fire observed from a/c underside. Nil Minor fire damage.
18 Nov. 1720L Windsor Locks, Conn. Falcon 50 Reg: N14CG Returned Bradley Intl with smoke in cockpit, landing r/way 33 with evacn. Nil / 5 o/b ARFF extinguished a fire in the cabin behind the cockpit area.
