04 June 1002Z East Midlands UK A320-231 of MYT C-GTDK MYT506 cabin crew fought an aft galley fire with a fire-extinguisher. Nil Alerted by smk and bright glow. Oven #3 removed and sent for a strip report.
05 June 0032Z Calgary Alberta Ca 737 of WestJet Reg: C-GQWJ Cessna, cleared to land hold short for 737 on cross-strip, failed the mission. Nil Cessna veered off & deptd runway to the right, passing the hold-short line.
06 June 2150L JFK A/P New York 777 of United Flt: 132 Dumped fuel and returned as cargo door warning illuminated in departure climb passing Flight Level 180. Nil Believed to have been a microswitch adjustment problem. Recurred on next flight so re-sched for a hangar visit.
07 June Southampton, UK BAe146 of FlyBE Flt BE1881 lost cabin pressurization on climb, masks dropped, a/c returned. Nil Bound Prague. Burnt off fuel before landing. Outflow valve.
09 June 1240L Hamburg, Germany DHC-8-402 of SAS OY-KCG Diverted in to Hamburg Intl A/P after experiencing an engine fire enroute. Nil Zurich - Stockholm, Sweden.
10 June 2042Z Toronto, Ontario CL600 2B19(RJ) of Flagship Air Flt FLG5802's #2 eng shut down for oil press failure & a/c diverted Toronto. Nil Maint replaced carbon seal cover O-ring (Ottawa for Detroit Michigan).
10 June 0540Z Dallas, Texas 767 of UPS UPS 923 reported smoke in the cockpit on the approach. Nil Crewmembers treated for smoke inhalation.
10 June 1430L Palm Beach Intl MD80 of Spirit Airlines One hour out, a/c diverted into Palm Beach with a cargo-hold fire indication. Nil / 138 o/b Ft Lauderdale, Fla., to New York. Other reports say a smell was detected.
10 June 2025L Heathrow UK for Harare, Zimbabwe 777-200 of BA Flt: BAW153 G-YMME landed back 27L at 2110L (after 40 mins airborne) following a heavy fuel leak from center wing tank. Nil No abnormal indications but a/c was re-landed on basis of public inputs received after a/c's daytime takeoff.
11 June 1504Z Grapevine Texas EMB-135LR of Chautauqua Left runway to the right onto grass during its roll-out on runway 35R. Nil / 40 o/b Oklahoma City to Dallas via Grapevine. Minor damage.
11 Jun Dallas Ft Worth, Texas ERJ145 of Delta Flt: DL6490 Flight slid off slick runway surface on landing & came to rest 60ft off the side. 1pax inj/ 37 pax / 3crew Arr from Oklahoma City. One pax hospitalized. Operator Chautauqua

11 June 2350Z Chicago, Ill. EMB145 of American Eagle N641AE fuselage holed on pushback by low barricade Nil a/c grounded and pax transferred to other a/c.
12 June 1330L Chennai, India 737-200 of Alliance Air Kolkata bound flight was refused an eng-out landing at Vishakapatnam. Nil / 70 o/b No emerg facilities at VISH. so a/c flew back to point of origin - Chennai.
13 June 1130L Rotterdam 737-700 of Basiq Air Landed safely after hours of circling during attempts to get n/wheel down. Nil / 113 pax Flt arriving from Stockholm, Sweden.
13 June 1803Z Oak Hills, West Virginia King Air 200 Reg: N200BE Two pilots killed in a weather-related crash in a heavily wooded area. 2 fatal / 2 o/b Bodies recovered by an all terrain vehicle after 5 hours.
13 June 0342Z Oklahoma City 757-200 of FedEx FDX452 decl emerg during base to final for fire in the cabin & evac'd. Nil No apparent damage and nil further details. A/c left parked on r'way 35L.
14 June Windsor Locks, Conn. 737 of Continental CO1526 landed Bradley Intl with a hyd leak and no nose-wheel steering. Nil / 70 o/b Runway closed as a/c couldn't taxi. Flt originated Houston, Texas.
14 June 0330L Pittsburgh, Pa. 737 of US Airways Flt:1076 A/c veered off runway after an owl-strike broke nosewheel steering cable. Nil / 92 pax A/c became mired in mud after its delayed arrival from Charlotte N.C.
14 June Faro, Portugal A321 of Monarch Tailstrike on landing in the lengthier Airbus. (A321 autothrottle flies the appch at a VLS close to min speed). Nil A321 auto-thrust allows speed decay pre-flare - so add a few kts to avoid after-bounce tailstrike)
14 June Mexico City 747-400 of Lufthansa Flt499 Car hit D-ABVO on ramp damaging it and LAX flight was cancelled. Nil Serious damage to wing and flap. Seattle Boeing repair team enroute.
15 June 1824Z Waukegan, Ill. MU-2B-40 Reg: N77DK Aircraft landed hard and its nosewheel collapsed. Nil No significant weather. MU-2 appch characteristics are "different."
16 June Chitral, Pakistan Fokker F27-200 Flt: PK660 A/c slid off the runway by 600 meters whilst landing - and its gear collapsed. Nil / 45 o/b Chitral NWFP-Peshawar. A/c shed many parts & is extensively damaged.
16 June 0928L Narita, Japan A321 of Asiana Runway closed for 50 mins after a pre-take-off Asiana Airbus a/c nearly collided with a landing KLM 777. Nil Asiana a/c deptd 5 minutes after runway was re-opened.
16 June 1450Z Windsor Locks, Conn. MD80 of Delta Flt: DAL1110 Reptd a Lmain gear anomaly & landed Bradley Intl dragging its port door Nil Apparent gear door hinge failure.
16 June 1941L Tamworth, Australia C130 of RAAF Dili East Timor to Richmond NSW flight diverted in with smoke in the aircraft. Nil Troop and ammo carrier.
