07 March Keflavik, Iceland	757 of Icelandair	5 minutes into flight, aircraft was struck by lightning and returned.	Nil / 150 pax	Keflavik-New York. Extensive damage to nosecone & radar antenna.
07 March Manchester, UK	747 of Malaysian	747 front hold's door-frame was ripped open in loading accident.	Nil	No further details. Significant damage grounded a/c.
08 March 2245L Casablanca, Mor	Airbus of AF 757-200 of RAM	Airbus taxiing in hit parked 757-200 of Royal Air Maroc (RAM).	Nil	Air France pilot taxiing via the wrong route. Minor damage to both a/c.
08 March East Midlands, UK	737 of EasyJet	Firefighters extinguished fire in engine on the ramp.	Nil	A/c about to depart for Luton, UK.
09 March Singapore	747-400 of QANTAS	Tire exploded on t/off and a/c cont'd to Frankfurt. Hydraulic leak detected halfway through flight.	Nil	Damage to port leading, trailing edge & fuselage. One 3m gash to fuselage, with some ribs missing.
09 March ~1920L LAX	737 of SWA	Emergency landing after cockpit window shattered at 26,000 ft.	Nil	Flight was LAX departure that quickly returned to land 24L.
09 March day Muzzaffrabad, Pak	Puma of Int'l Red Cross Pakistan	2 crew inj as helo crashed in Kashmir during ICRC medi-aid work.	2 inj	ICRC MI-8 helo missing since January in Afghanistan has never been found.
10 March ~1900L Stuttgart, Germany	Fokker 100 of Air France Regnl	A/c returned uneventfully with engine failure after take-off.	Nil	Stuttgart-Paris (Orly). 1 died/3inj when responding fire vehicle hit private car.
10 March Tokyo (Narita)	747 of Jalways Flt JO941	Windshield cracked at FL390. Pilots returned to Tokyo (Narita).	Nil / 425pax +22 crew	Tokyo-Guam flight had spider web craze failure of left cockpit window.
