Heli-Expo Show Day: Honeywell Practices What It Preaches

HONEYWELL AEROSPACE (www.honeywell.com and www.honeywell.com/missionready) is displaying its new AgustaWestland AW139 corporate helicopter, which is fitted with Honeywell’s Primus Epic cockpit and cabin systems. The aircraft is being displayed at the AgustaWestland exhibit at Booths 3039 and 3441, but the Honeywell Aerospace exhibit at Booth 2137 is the place to see the company’s avionics demonstrator cockpit. This cockpit is equipped with an enhanced ground-proximity warning system, a traffic-alert/collision-avoidance system, an integrated primary flight display, and synthetic vision. Visitors can "fly" several scenarios in it. Honeywell also has its HTS900-2 engine on display. The engine powers the U.S. Army/Bell Helicopter ARH-70A Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter.
