Buddha Air Flight Crashes, Killing 19

All aboard a Buddha Air flight, including three Americans, died on Sept. 25 in Nepal after returning back to the capital city of Katmandu, after a sightseeing expedition of the mountains, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

Ten Indian citizens, and two Nepalis along with one Japanese citizen were also on the fatal flight.

The plane lost contact with the Tribhuvan airport about 40 minutes after take off, according to news reports. The aircraft allegedly experienced thick fog a few miles outside the airport.

The Nepalese government is now investigating the cause of the accident.
