PZL Uncovers Naval W-3PL/N

AgustaWestland company PZL-Swidnik has initiated development of the multi-role W-3PL/N. The naval variant is patterned after the armed W-3PL Gluszec. The development team based in Swidnik will incorporate knowledge gained from the Polish Navy’s W-3 Anaconda maritime SAR program into the W-3PL/N, which will feature a suite of mission equipment including a radar, compact sonics system, FLIR, rescue hoist and searchlight. The company has also partnered with AgustaWestland’s AW149 Polish industrial team to increase support of the Polish military variant. A total of 14 agreements have been signed with companies across Poland for research and support of the AW149.
