Becker Adds LoJack to SAR Direction Finder

Becker Avionics Systems plans to add LoJack’s proven stolen-vehicle tracking and recovery software to its search and rescue SAR-DF 517 radio-direction finder for law enforcement aviation units in the U.S. and Canada. A top manufacturer of communications, navigation, surveillance and equipment for airborne, maritime and ground use, Becker has won a technology-licensing agreement from LoJack, a leading global provider of recovery systems for stolen mobile assets. The move would combine industry-leading solutions for stolen-vehicle recovery and SAR into a single unit, saving weight and panel space in an aircraft’s cockpit. Becker is offering the LoJack technology in new units and as a retrofit. For related news
