United Dropping Regional Capacity

Following a similar action by Delta, United announced its plans to cope with rising fuel prices, saying it will drop its regional airline capacity by 0.8 percent this year while mainline flying will be flat. United originally predicted that regionals would grow as much as one percent this year. Related Story
