UNI AIR Becomes First Asian Carrier to Fly ATR 72-600
Taiwan-based carrier UNI AIR is the first Asian carrier to take delivery of the ATR 72-600.
ATR said UNI AIR — a regional subsidiary of EVA AIR — is looking to replace its fleet of Dash 8 Q-300 turboprops with a new fleet of 10 ATR 72-600s.
UNI AIR is expected to enter its first ATR 72-600 intoservice on October 11th. ATR did not say when the remaining 72-600s on order will be delivered to the regional carrier.
