UAEx Flight in Gear-Up Landing

For the second time in as many days, a regional aircraft suffered a gear-up landing, this time at O’Hare when a United Express flight from Chicago to South Bend. The captain returned to Chicago after takeoff when the left landing gear failed. None of the 28 passengers on board was injuried. Passengers were later accommodated on other flights. Related Story
