UA Express Posts Losses

United Express operations took in $797 million in passenger revenue, up 0.9 percent during the second quarter but cost $847 million in expenses, up 15.6 percent. United said that Express capacity will drop -0.5 percent to +0.5 percent in the third quarter and between -3.5 percent to -2.5 percent in the fourth quarter for a full year increase of 2.0 percent to 1.0 percent.
