Republic Repurchases More Stock

Republic Airways Holdings will purchase 1.555 million shares of its Common Stock, par value $.001 per share, from WexAir RJET LLC, the company's former majority stockholder, at a price of $20.90 per share, for total consideration of $32,499,500. Settlement of the transaction is expected to occur on October 31, 2007. This purchase is authorized under a previously announced $100 million share repurchase program. It is the third such transaction with WexAir. Earlier, it agreed to purchase one million shares of its Common Stock, par value $.001 per share, from WexAir LLC,at a price of $20.20 per share, for total consideration of $20,200,000. The company had previously purchased two million shares of its common from WexAir at a price of $19.20 per share or $38.4 million.
