Raymond Promoted @ CommutAir

Joel Raymond was appointed executive vice president of Continental Connection CommutAir after an 11-year stint with the company which including holding various positions in customer service and station management. In 2000, he was appointed director of scheduling and pricing with associated involvement in financial and technical analysis of the company’s business plans. He became vice president – marketing and planning in 2002 and has since been responsible for route and fleet planning, fuel procurement, contract negotiations, aircraft sales, public relations, pricing and strategic initiatives. A graduate of Daniel Webster College in 1996, he holds an A.S. in Flight Operations and a B.S. in Aviation Management. Mr. Raymond lives in Avon, Ohio with his wife, Kristen, and two children, Chloe and Zachary. Champlain Enterprises, which is headquartered in Burlington, Vermont is a privately-held corporation engaged in scheduled passenger air transportation to 25 cities in 9 states throughout the northeastern U.S. The company operates a fleet of 37-passenger Bombardier aircraft as “Continental Connection” under contract to Continental Airlines.
