RJET Revs Up, Profit Down

Republic Posts At a time when it has cut deals lending various airlines over $70 million, Republic Airways Holdings finished the third quarter with $134.2 million in cash and cash equivalents compared to $164.0 million as of December 31, 2007. The company reported operating revenues in the quarter jumped 16.7 percent to $385.2 million but net income was down to $17 million compared from $20.2 million in the year-ago period.
