Porter Putting Fuel Surcharges in Base Fares

Porter Airlines iincluded the cost of fuel in its advertised base fares effective September 19, better reflecting the final cost of a flight for customers.
“We’re pleased to make this change for our passengers since Porter has always favored advertising fares in this way,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO. “This also enhances Porter’s reputation as a service-oriented airline always looking for ways to improve the passenger experience.”
Previous fuel surcharges ranged from $20 to $40, depending on the destination.
