NovoAir Purchases Two ERJ 145s

Bangladesh carrier NovoAir purchased two pre-owned Embraer ERJ 145 jets for an undisclosed sum. The airline said the new jets will be the first Embraer aircraft to enter into service in Bangladesh.

Embraer Vice President Alex Glock called Bangladesh an attractive market for the 50-seat ERJ 145.

“With the introduction of our ERJ 145s, we are pleased to offer an all-jet domestic service which will appeal to the business traveler in Bangladesh. In the future, we aim to connect our key cities with other top destinations in the region,” said Mofizur Rahman, managing director of NovoAir.

NovoAir becomes the 13th operator of Embraer commercial aircraft in the Asia Pacific region. More
