Toronto-based carrier Porter Airlines has a new interline agreement with Icelandair aimed at increasing passenger access to destinations in Europe.
Under the agreement, passengers can now purchase a single combined e-ticket for Porter and Icelandair flights to 20 destinations throughout Europe.
The interline agreement is in line with Icelandair's expansion plans, as the flag carrier increased service from Toronto-Pearson earlier this year, and plans to increase capacity next summer as well.
“Canada is a growing market for Icelandair with many exciting opportunities on the horizon. The agreement with Porter Airlines will allow us to offer our passengers even more connections and flexibility throughout Canada,” said Thorsteinn Egilsson, general manager of the Americas division at Icelandair.
