Midwest Upgrades Fleet with Dual Configuration

As part of the next phase in its 2007 rollout of its strategic plan, Midwest Airlines is now offering a choice of Signature and Saver seats on all flights which will be available on all its MD-80s this year and, by mid-2008, on its Boeing 717s. Saver Service is now available on the airline’s long-distance MD-80s, mostly to leisure destinations, and features low fares and two-by three seating. The Signature Service is currently offered on its Boeing 717s and features competitive priced fares and two-across, wide, leather seats. Both services offer generous seat pitch. Overall, the implementation of seating choices is projected to generate $30-35 million in annualized revenue.
