Midwest Connect Expands to MKE-Charlotte

SkyWest’s Midwest Connect operation is taking on Midwest’s Airlines new expansion to Charlotte on September 16 with twice daily roundtrips from Milwaukee and between Kansas City and Austin. Midwest Connect Skyways is also adding a fourth nonstop roundtrip to Milwaukee-Nashville, effective September 4 while the mainline carrier adds a fourth roundtrip to Las Vegas on October 1. The airline cited Charlotte’s role as both a financial center and its association with NASCAR as well as Austin’s role in entertainment, state government and education.
