Midwest Airline Value Nil for NW

In an Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Northwest Airlines put the $213 million investment it made in Midwest Airlines at zero. The airline cited the financial deterioration of Midwest since it made its investment in January. The fuel crisis has forced Midwest into massive cutbacks in service and employees, 40 percent of which have been let go.
