Mesa Loses Motion

Mesa Air Group’s motion for a new trial was tossed out by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert Faris. Mesa had asked for a new trial saying it unable to offer evidence that it did not misuse confidential information gained from proposals to invest in Hawaiian. In the meantime, it is appealing the Faris’s decision to award Hawaiian $80 million. Mesa was ordered to post a $90 million bond while the appeal is in process. Related Story
