Larsen Makes 3-Point Landing

Well-known aviation consultant Tulinda Larsen joined NEXA Capital Partners, LLC as a principal, and is expected to use her skills as a rainmaker with the year-old, Washington-based company which focuses on providing capital for the aerospace, defense, transportation, homeland security and geomatics business sectors.
NEXA Advisors provides transaction-focused advisory services to companies and management teams in the aerospace and transportation sectors in the U.S., Asia, and around the world. Larsen joins Nexa Capital Managing Partners Michael J. Dyment, CEO, and Justin P. Oberman, COO and NEXA’s pool of industry and financial analysts.
The firm specializes in corporate finance, business strategy, enterprise value dynamics and value creation. Over the next 20 years, the firm predicts the aerospace and transportation sectors will undergo fundamental changes as world economies attempt to address core economic, infrastructure and operational challenges. Thus, NEXA seeks "transformational" opportunities. NEXA Capital Partners, LLC assists companies and management teams focusing on transforming and creating new industries. It combines its aerospace and transportation sector expertise with access to institutional capital. To this end, NEXA assists management in establishing, managing to, and measuring value indicators that resonate with the investment community and markets in general.
Larsen has more than 30 years experience in the aviation industry and has directed numerous aviation industry market analyses and forecasts. She is a private pilot and past-president (2000-2001) of the Aero Club of Washington D.C. Her memberships include the board of directors (2005-2006) International Trade Data Users, International Aviation Woman's Association, International Aviation Club, Royal Aeronautics Society, Society of Industry Leaders, Aviation Transportation Research International Forum. She also served as chair of the Regional Aviation Subcommittee, Transportation Research Board, National Academies (1995- 2007). She holds a master's degree in economics; a bachelor's in political science from The George Washington University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Business Administration.
