Japanese Start Up Takes E 170

Suzuyo & Co. Ltd., ordered two Embraer ERJ 170s and optioned a third for a proposed airline that will launch with the opening of the Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport in 2009, in central Japan. The order is the second from a Japanese airline and was previously recorded in the third quarater backlog as undisclosed. The contract value, if the purchase right is exercised, could come to $87 million. The initial delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2009.
