ERJ Reports 3Q Results

Embraer recorded net sales of $1,428.5 million in the third quarter of 2007 (3Q07), and net income of $194.9 million, equivalent to diluted earnings per ADS of $1.0507. During 3Q07, operating expenses totaled $80.5 million, compared to $177.4 million for the same period in 2006. Sales expenses totaled $86.7 million in 3Q07, representing an increase of 5.9 percent compared to $81.9 million in 3Q06, owing to an increase in the business aviation sales efforts.
