Boeing Delivers 1000th Airplane to China

Boeing announced the delivery of its 1,000th airplane to China last week, a Next-Generation 737-800 for China Eastern Airlines.

 

China Eastern operates the largest 737 fleet among Chinese airlines, and plans to add up to 26 Next-Gen 737s to its fleet this year.

Boeing forecasts China will need 5,620 new airplanes, valued at $670 billion, over the next 20 years to keep up with the projected increase in passenger demand. More
